I offer therapy services to adults in Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding areas.
My main specialties are in working with folks facing ADHD (especially those diagnosed later in life), complex trauma (also called CPTSD), anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions. Sometimes I see clients struggling with a few of these concerns at once.
I use modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also enjoy working with brain-based types of therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting. -
Getting started is quite simple. Feel free to book a free phone consultation through our online booking. These calls give us both a chance to see if we’d be a good fit to work together.
You can also contact me by filling out a form on the contact me page and I will get back to you.

I am always genuinely curious about each person’s inner world. This allows me to help you explore what is going on, and how different factors may be contributing to your concerns. It also helps me to tailor your treatment plan to what is helpful for your particular case.
Nevertheless, therapy to me is more than just exploring, I also like to work with clients in building new skills and strategies so that they can make changes in their lives.
I truly believe in each client’s resiliency, and ability to heal. As social beings, a big part of our healing happens when we can genuinely be ourselves in the context of therapy (or in our life, really). This is why I strive to be authentic with my clients.
Finally, I absolutely love that I do! This allows me to be excited about my job, always striving to find new ways of supporting my clients.

The amount of sessions needed will depend greatly on the issues we are working with, the complexity of your case, and your goals. This is a conversation that we can have during our first session, or even during our free consultation.
One thing that is important to keep in mind is that making changes in therapy can be a slow process at times. However, clients who practice their strategies in their day to day life, tend to have faster outcomes than those who do not.
In terms of how often to book sessions, I often recommend that clients book sessions more regularly at the beginning of their work - about every week to two weeks. After the first 3-4 sessions, we tend to space them out more. This is to ensure you are getting enough momentum in your work, and learning enough strategies. Once the strategies are in place, it is important to have enough time between sessions to give you a chance to practice them “in the wild”.

During your first session, we will go through informed consent first.
Then, the session is about establishing a good working relationship, getting more information on your history, as well as your presenting symptoms. We usually talk about some working theories of what could be happening for you, which might help explain the symptoms you are experiencing.
Finally, we come up with some goals together, as to what you would like to achieve through therapy, and I can explain some of tools to help you achieve that.
