Indigenous-Led Resources in Alberta
Truth and Reconciliation Day is about acknowledging and reflecting on the injustice and impact of residential schools in Canada. It is a day when we honour survivors, and remember the children that did not come home.
I have compiled a short list of Alberta resources that offer support to First Nation, Metis and Inuit:
CASA Mental Health (Indigenous Mental Health Services) -
https://casamentalhealth.org/getting-help-2/indigenous-mental-health-services/Indigenous Support Line - Support line to help First Nations, Metis and Inuit navigate the healthcare system, and provide culturally sensitive support.

http://lorettaswellnesscircle.com/Indigenous Gathering Place - A place designed by indigenous people, for indigenous people to be able to come together, reconnect with culture, and a place to heal.

Although this is not an exhaustive list, is a place to start on your journey towards healing.
