Services in English and Spanish.
You have worked so hard to keep it together, but something doesn’t feel right…
-
Maybe you notice that your capacity to handle stress is really low. You might feel like you are in a constant state of overwhelm.
Others may tell you that you seem to always have it figured out, but only you know the cost of appearing this way. You know how much of your life anxiety is robbing you of, and you are ready to stop feeling like you are being chased all the time.
-
You have lost count (and tracks) of all the to-do lists. They were supposed to help you get things done, but all you feel is a sense of complete overwhelm and dread when you even think of them.
You have tried to be part of the the 5am club, only to find out you are not the most pleasant human when your brain fog stays with you until 11am, no matter how early you wake up.
You keep telling yourself, “I’ll be so productive on my day off”, but the reality rarely matches the plan. Then the guilt sets in, for “wasting” another day.
You have been relying on your superpower, “hyperfocus”, to get stuff done. If only you could predict when the next wave will show up, that would be great for planning.
None of these strategies are wrong, but they don’t necessarily work with your neurotype. Sometimes we just need a little bit more support and tweaks to make these strategies work for us.

Your whole life you have felt different. At some level, you knew that you were playing life on hard mode, but you always thought that it was because something was wrong with you.
If only I could be more disciplined…
If only I could stop myself from oversharing…
If only I could stop being so lazy…
If only feedback didn’t hurt so deeply…
Over time, you have probably internalized a lot of the messages of “something is wrong with you”.
Many neurodivergent individuals learn to mask so that they can fit in, or succeed. However, over time, the mask can get really difficult and exhausting to maintain. There is a different way to do things, and we can figure that out together. -
Perhaps you have noticed similar patterns in your relationships. Patterns around sabotaging, avoiding difficult conversations, people pleasing until you are burned out and depleted, pushing people away when things get difficult.
A lot of times we continue to re-enact the relational patterns that we learned, or the ones that at some point in our lives kept us safe.
I invite you to become curious about the ways of coping that are not working for you anymore, so that you can learn new ways of relating that serve your current life better.
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here…
Many of my clients seek out help to better understand and manage their ADHD. Others come to see me because of patterns rooted in negative early life experiences, chronic stress, and emotional neglect. It is common for these experiences to overlap in ways that are unique to each person.
My job is to help you better understand the patterns that keep you stuck, the coping mechanisms you have developed to manage these difficulties, and help you change whatever is no longer working for you. To do that, I like to focus two angles: learning strategies to deal with what happens day-to-day, and changing the roots of the issue.
My style to therapy is defined by collaboration and curiosity. You don’t need to have anything figured out before you arrive. Just a willingness to explore what’s going on inside and to try small, meaningful shifts along the way.
